London Olympics Ticket Mishap leads to Thousands of Upgrades
What an Upgrade!
Imagine buying a ticket for synchronized swimming at the London Olympics but ending up with tickets to the men's 100m finals instead.That's the reality for more than 200 ticket holders who benefited from a snafu in the olympic committee's ticket sales.
The error happened in the summer when committee sold 10,000 too many synchronized swimming tickets. As compensation the fans get their choice of top notch glamour events at no additional cost.
Thousands of ticket holders have already struck gold, upgrading to the finals of major swimming events and track events.
Reports are that approximately 200 ticket holders have nabbed tickets to the biggest event of them all --the men's 100m event.
Now that's an upgrade NO fan would turn down
